As we discussed in our last class, I have created two different options for you to choose from for your Castles Project.
The Assignments, details, resources and example videos are up on the iTunes U Course for you to check out and will be your best place to start. I have also put some of the info on this post so you can add any questions in the comments below.
Note: For those that were absent this class I have also put a recording of this class below.
Option 1 (Individual Project):
Here is option one for your Castles Project. As you see (view the project from the Assignment below) this is a detailed, step-by-step project. It is for those of you that like to research and writing detailed responses. Remember to include all your references. You can also be extra creative if you wish. Instead of drawing and labelling a castle why not build one in MineCraft? You could create a stop motion of a castle being attacked, a interactive Keynote showing different parts of a castle, you decide.
Option 2 (Group Project):
This is option two for your Castles Project. As you can see (view the project from the Assignment below) this is a much more creative and expressive project. This is for those of you that like to use other forms of media to express your ideas and work from a client brief. It is also for those that work well in a group and can delegate and share the workload. As I said, this can actually be a tougher project as it not only requires you to work in a free and creative way but also incorporate all the required research and topics (but will end up being very cool!)Please read the brief fully. I have also given you some extra theme choices. The 80s theme to tricky? That’s OK, why not try a different theme instead: Documentary, Attacking Castles for Dummies, Reenactment – it is up to you (just let me know first)
